Job Description:
PFG Customized Distribution is seeking a skilled and motivated Logistics Trainee to join our team. As a Logistics Trainee, you will be responsible for assisting experienced drivers in executing delivery routes, ensuring customer satisfaction through professional interactions, and adhering to safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist driver trainers with deliveries and routes.
- Perform all required safety checks on tractor/truck and trailer according to DOT regulations.
- Inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight.
- Check and complete paperwork associated with freight.
- Drive to and deliver customer orders according to predetermined route delivery schedule.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).
- Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years.
- Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
