What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receiving Coordinator position at PFG Customized?
This position is on third shift. The schedule for this position is Monday to Friday, 2am - 10:30am. You will be expected to work in all areas of the warehouse, freezer, cooler and dry, as needs warrant. You will spend half of your time in the office and the other half in the warehouse. The goal is to give you a generalized perspective of the entire Receiving operation.

Provides administrative support for this area including the communication, paperwork and system data entry. Position Responsibilities:
6-12 months Warehouse receiving admin support and data entry.
You MUST have current experience using a stand-up Forklift, Electric Pallet Jack and a Cherry Picker.

Position Responsibilities:
- Schedules and confirms all receiving appointments and notifies appropriate personnel of any changes. Updates receiving appointments in the system by cut-off time.
- Verifies, adjusts, and reconciles quantities, catch weights, lot numbers and expiration dates on product received into the warehouse as appropriate.
- Sets up new vendors on routes, provides directions to the vendor location and relays appointment requirements to both the vendor and driver as needed.
- Contacts vendors and merchandisers regarding short/over product received.
- Keys receivers into the system; verifies receiving report and files reports.
- Verifies purchase orders (POs) from drivers and reviews outstanding purchase orders.
- Prints receiving work sheets and pallet labels. Assists with “will calls” involving invoicing, accounts receivable and special shipments. Assists with inventory control support as needed.
- Will be expected to perform Receiving audits to ensure the integrity of the receiving process.
- Assist with Shrink efforts and re-coup of damaged products.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
