The Event Coordinator is crucial for the success of the Events Department and requires someone with high energy who enjoys an action-packed work environment. In this role, you will support the Events Team with clients and hotel personnel in the handling of banquet & catering accounts If you have a passion for excellent guest service with an exceptional organizational skills this would make you the perfect candidate.

What you will be doing :

• Promptly answer telephone calls following Pfister standards using clear and positive English communication. Communicate information accurately to managers and disseminate information and facts to relevant accounts and concerned departments.
• Distribute memos, contracts, resumes, BEOs, room requests and amenities to relevant departments throughout the hotel.
• Field all internal meeting requests and book all in-house meetings.
• Field, build and distribute all pop-up meetings requests to appropriate member of the Events Team.
• Manage rooms-only groups as assigned by Area Director of Events.
• Track and record Event Teams survey scores through Revinate.
• Participate in the contracted event turnover process through the hotel's Event Turnover SOP.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
