The Senior Healthcare Rep is responsible for launching new products, managing business relationships, understanding formulary access, and engaging in product promotion within assigned accounts. Additionally, the rep is charged with sales efforts and relationship development with assigned customers and accounts, including Therapeutic Area Specialists and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
The Senior Healthcare Rep should possess customer, market, and business acumen combined with strong product and disease state knowledge; demonstrate strong sales, promotional, and strategic business development skills; and have in-depth customer engagement expertise in both virtual and in-person settings. The rep should utilize a systematic approach to virtual engagement (e.g., clear agenda, next steps / follow-ups); have outstanding communication skills; and be adept in the operation of digital and virtual tools / multi-platforms. The ability to effectively work remotely in collaboration with cross-functional internal teams to address customer needs and compliantly deliver on Pfizer business objectives is essential.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and implement the most efficient virtual / in-person engagement strategies to maximize overall effectiveness and impact.
- Develop and implement effective business and territory call plans, adapting based on self-identified opportunities and insights.
- Build rapport and relationships with customers across virtual and face-to-face environments; maintain a methodical approach toward call objectives (e.g., clear next steps and appropriate documentation, managing to KPIs).
- Utilize current digital tools effectively (e.g., Veeva Engage, Zoom, Microsoft Office) and adapt quickly to new / beta tools (e.g., digital triage app) for successful customer engagement.
- Leverage analytics to assist with developing insights and next best action plans.
- Engage key customers to grow business and drive product demand by proactively providing education that best meets HCP and patients’ needs.
- Develop and deliver relevant, targeted messaging utilizing approved materials via customer engagement to drive product demand.
- Leverage product and disease state knowledge to appropriately educate providers on unbranded and branded product value propositions.
- Work effectively with HCPs and direct office staff to plan for customer engagements in multiple formats.
- Strategically deploy approved Pfizer resources to support provider and patient needs.
- Support patients’ access to Pfizer products by providing relevant information to HCPs on Reimbursement, Patient Assistance Program (PAP), and Co-Pay Resources.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional colleagues to address customer inquiries and advance Pfizer objectives.
- Utilize calendaring tools and personal insights to address customer priorities effectively.

Field sales role may require 25% travel and overnights.
