What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2nd shift Machine Operator position at PFL Services Inc?
Overview:
PFL Services is looking for a machine operator in the High Point area. Will be a 2nd shift position.
Responsibilities:
- Expected to take initiative & be proactive.
- Able to read & understand shop orders.
- Production schedules & follow written or verbal instructions.
- Meet & exceed the expectations (safety, quality, & productivity).
- Identify & separate nonconforming parts (defective).
- Report issues to maintenance as needed and make supervisor aware.
- Must follow all safety rules & regulations, housekeeping (5S) throughout and end of shift.
- Must be punctual.
- Operators are responsible for part quality inspections.
- Reporting issues to team leader or supervisor.
- Reading shop orders to ensure that the right amount & size frames.
- Performing crowbar test after every tip change to ensure quality standards.
- Adjusting fixtures properly.
- All other duties as required.
Requirements:
- Eye and Ear protection is required
- Steel Toe shoes are required.
- 40lb of lifting
- Standing for the entire 8 hour shift
Job Location: High Point, NC
Shift: 2nd shift 2:45pm - 11:30pm Monday through Friday
