Job Overview
The Electrical Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing electrical projects on construction sites. The Electrical Supervisor will manage a team of electricians, coordinate with other trades, and ensure compliance with all relevant codes and regulations. MUST HAVE AT LEAST 8 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE.
Duties
- Supervise and lead a team of electricians on various construction projects.
- Ensure that all electrical installations meet quality control standards and comply with safety regulations.
- Manage project timelines and budgets effectively, utilizing construction management software
- Coordinate with project managers to discuss project specifications, contracts, and schedules.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
- Implement best practices for pipeline management to optimize workflow and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and labor hours.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior electricians to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
- This position requires strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of electrical systems and construction management.
- Must have experience with High Voltage and low voltage.
- MUST HAVE OSHA 30
Skills
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation techniques, and safety protocols.
- Proficiency in using construction management software including Heavy Bid for budgeting purposes.
- Experience in managing contracts and understanding contractual obligations within the construction industry.
- Familiarity with quality control processes to ensure high standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with other trades and stakeholders on the construction site.
