Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in sheet metal fabrication and installation, ensuring high-quality workmanship on various projects. This will be out of town work, work location: Lewisburg, PA
Responsibilities:
- Supervising a team of 5
- Will be doing Industrial work
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout requirements
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and weld sheet metal using specialized tools
- Inspect finished products for quality and ensure they meet project standard
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure timely project completion
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Mechanic or similar role
- Proficiency in construction management and project scheduling
- Knowledge of budgeting and cost control within construction projects
- Familiarity with construction management software such as Prolog and Bluebeam
- Understanding of OSHA regulations and safety protocols on construction sites
- Ability to use tools like an ohmmeter for electrical testing
- Strong attention to detail and precision in sheet metal fabrication
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively in a team environment
