Job Summary
We are seeking a Shop Helper to work in a fabrication shop. This role is essential for supporting various tasks within the shop, ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the fabrication and assembly of products using hand tools and power tools.
- Will be assisting different departments hands on, i.e Welding, cleaning, assembly
- will be cleaning and organizing different types of metals, i.e stainless steel, sheet metal. ect.
- Performing little assembly with small brackets
- Organizing, cleaning and sweeping the shop.
Experience
- Previous experience in a shop is preferred.
- Must have previous experience with different metals and pipes.
- Welding experience.
- Familiarity with mechanical concepts, fabrication techniques, and assembly processes is advantageous.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and machinery related to production tasks.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
