What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Shipper position at PFlow Industries?
Are you a detailed-oriented individual who can ensure accurate and on time shipping of orders, then join our parts department as a shipper.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Packing part boxes to safely ship
- Packing large parts on skids to safely ship on trucks
- Work interdepartmentally to ensure on time shipping
- Keep a safe, clean, and well stocked work area.
- One or more years of experience in small parcel and LTL shipping.
- Ability to use small hand and power tools such as tape measure, screwdrivers, nail gun, and saw.
- Ability to lift 50 LBS.
- Ability to read and comprehend drawings
- Ability to follow and meet established procedures.
- Ability to be forklift certified
- Keep work area cleaned and stocked of all shipping materials
- Strong computer and tablet skills
- Experience packing boxes using different packing materials.
- Follow safety and PPE procedures
- Able to load LTL and flatbed trucks
- Ability to multi-task and switch priorities with little to no notice
- Be to work on time daily to ensure we meet ship dates
