Position Overview
PFM is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented summer Intern to assist with bank reconciliations and other accounting activities. This full-time, paid internship provides hands-on experience in a professional accounting environment, offering exposure to government accounting and public finance and the opportunity to build valuable skills. The Intern will work on-site in our Orlando East office on Quadrangle Blvd near UCF.
Primary Responsibilities
- Bank reconciliations for multiple accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to address discrepancies or issues identified during reconciliations.
- Transition paper-based records to digital formats by scanning and organizing documents. Log and update financial data in spreadsheets, ensuring accuracy and consistency. Participate in special projects or assignments related to financial reporting or analysis.
- Any other items needed to assist district accountant with monthly tasks
