What are the responsibilities and job description for the District Operations Manager (Southeast Area) position at PFP Logistics?
PFP Logistics is looking for a District Area Manager (Greater Charleston Area)!
Our District Manager will:
- Daily Check-Ins with Site Supervisors
- Travel to remote sites for routine/ consistent check-ins
- Demonstrate excellent customer service through consistent, routine check-ins
- Engage in routine problem-solving to navigate customer requests and workload fluctuations
- Analyze Profit and Loss Statements
- Provide coaching, training, and support to site level management
- Consult with site supervisors about how to manage workflow and how to optimize production
- Assist with Operation Procedures (Ex. Start of Day, Payroll, End of Day Form)
- Holding Site Supervisors accountable
- Help with new process/requirement roll-outs
- Conduct/assist with interviews
- Support New Site Startups
- Collaborate with the Corporate Office on projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Comfortable with public speaking
- Knowledgeable about pricing quotes
- Team player
- Time management
- Problem solving; strategic decision making and ability to prioritize
- Full understanding of industry safety standards
- Patiently demonstrate kind, direct, and clear communication; assertive

Salary : $60,000 - $85,000
