What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead/Forklift Operator position at PFP Logistics?
PFP Logistics is looking for a Lead/Forklift Operator in the St. Joseph, MO Area
Supervisor will:
- Oversee/help manually move freight, stock, and other materials on the receiving dock
- Manage workflow and optimize production
- Ensure safe and accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of products
- Engage in routine problem-solving to navigate employees, customer requests, and workload fluctuations
- Document daily site activity
- Build a positive workplace culture
- Perform general labor tasks
- Oversee weekly schedule and recruit new associates when needed
Requirements
- Must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
- Able to operate a forklift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a consistent basis
- Ability to exert force to lift, push, pull or carry heavy objects
- Must have reliable transportation and means of contact
