About the role
This is a full-time, salaried role, reporting to our CEO. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the day-to-day success of the Tasting Room by ensuring our employees deliver the outstanding guest experience that pFriem Family Brewers is known for. We are looking for a leader that is experienced, organized, and passionate about creating a thriving work environment for our employees and a welcoming environment for our guests.
A breakdown of your tasks :
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations and manage through a professional management system of follow-up, follow-through, and communication.
- Responsible for overseeing all staff, hiring new staff, and ensuring proper scheduling.
- Ensure excellent guest service that exceeds guest expectations every day.
- Ensure all restaurant management staff have clear expectations and set a professional management cadence with leadership staff to ensure alignment on policy and business matters.
- Control day-to-day operations, profit & loss, by following cash control / security procedures, reviewing financial reports, and running the business responsibly.
- Responsible for all financial (invoices, reporting) and personnel, payroll, and inventory related administrative duties.
- Ensure continuous education of staff is occurring through monthly beer and food schools.
- Actively involved in hiring, training employees, and all human resource activities.
- Manage floor shifts, which include daily decision-making and staff support, while setting the highest standard for service product quality and cleanliness.
- Enforce safe work behaviors to maintain a safe environment for both guests and staff members.
- Maintain professional behavior while creating a warm, fun, friendly, and hospitable atmosphere.
- Responsible for updating plans for training and development of staff.
- Own workplace safety, OLCC, and Health Department Compliance.
- Operate the business in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
- Monitor daily activities to ensure quality food and cleanliness standards.
- Set a high standard for restaurant cleanliness and maintenance.
