Position Summary
Manages resources to meet customer needs and ensures field personnel are safely dispatched to customer requests, compliance work and emergency calls. Manages the restoration dispatch center to ensure efficient processes, and effective cost and budget management. Oversees scheduling, streetlight repair process, 911 Emergency calls, the Estimated Time of Restoration (ETOR) and general clerical functions. The hours of this night shift position are 10pm - 6am.
This position is a DOT (Department of Transportation) covered classification and is subject to random drug and/or alcohol screening.
PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity.
A reasonable salary range is:
Minimum (California) $112,000.00
Maximum (California) $179,000.00

Job Responsibilities
- Creates, promotes, and manages a safety-first work environment and culture.
- Ensures consistency and adherence to work, involving compliance, OSHA safety standards, and PG&E safety regulations.
- Provides day to day work direction to dispatch team ensuring timely dispatching of field personnel to resolve outages, 911 emergency calls, compliance work or other customer or public agency requests.
- Oversees the day-to-day real-time operations of dispatch to drive performance and accomplish results through effective training and development, performance management/coaching and rewards and recognition.
- Monitors and reports out on emergency situations, 911 emergency calls, outages, compliance work or other customer or public agency requests.
- Establishes shift schedules, review and approves timecards.
- Ensures staff compliance with all mandated training.
- Experience with Microsoft Office software; including but not limited to: Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, and OneNote.
Minimum:
- High School or GED Diploma
- 3 years of job-related experience
- Supervisory experience
- CA Class C License, or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Leadership experience in supervising union-represented employees
- Knowledge of the IBEW union contract agreements
- Strong customer service orientation
- Understanding of electric outage restoration processes, best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
