Summary of Responsibilities
The Account Manager will make an impact by maintaining all tasks of client to internal communication, monitoring project schedule, and securing show services. Ensures that all details of projects are addressed with respect to delivery and cost containment to ensure the ultimate success and happiness of the client.
· Obtain I&D labor quotes and arrange I&D labor; get the PMs and I&D lead supervisor approval
· Pull show kits
· Meet with AE to review and analyze projects on a weekly or daily basis as needed
· Ascertain the upcoming show schedule for each client and continually review the schedule to anticipate client needs
· Develop as strong understanding of clients’ products/services, tradeshow and event needs, internal procedures for processing proposals and invoices and any other items pertaining to client management
· Recap client meeting minutes and distribute to client and account team; track the scope
· Generate estimates and change orders detailing scope of services to be provided to client
· Manage all show service details prior to the show including estimating for show services project management, supervision, and show services to ensure timelines and deliverables are met
· Attend and recap all launch and handoff meetings resolving all unanswered issues, reviewing the job file for accuracy of information and flawless execution of project
· Work with PMs to ensure that all deadlines are not compromised to avoid “Rush” charges for the client
· Complete the COI and any request for any other contractor services
· Review post-show change orders and reports; communicate any issues to the account team; participate in the development and implementation of remedial measures necessary for improvement
· Monitor show service costs to effectively manage project budgets and achieve or exceed forecasted show profit; budget provided in advance
· Review show services invoice against proposal to determine variances to determine validity and accuracy
· Weekly recaps to inform the AE of project status and or any issues
· Order show services materials and kits
· Support AEs with clients; focus on growing those accounts
· Make Project Timelines for show services when AE creates opportunities in NetSuite
· Looking at invoices/making sure invoices are being paid
· Checking in and scheduling booth setups on projects that do not have PG Supervisor
Preferred Skills and Experience
· Associates degree or equivalent experience
· Knowledge of exhibit operations and procedures a plus
· Pc skills, proficiency Microsoft office
· Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills
· Excellent customer service skills
· Proven ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail
· Problem-solving attitude
· Some travel may be required
· Ability to work a flexible and fast-paced environment
· Experience in Tradeshow, Event Management or Exhibit Design industry a plus
