Join our growing Plumbing department as an apprentice, we specialize in new construction and remodel projects within a 40-mile radius of Weston, WI. Our company prides itself on delivering high-quality plumbing solutions and maintaining a supportive and professional work environment. We offer continued education sponsorship, leading to the successful completion of your Journeyman’s license.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems and fixtures.
- Interpret blueprints and schematics to understand plumbing layouts
- Measure, cut, thread, solder, and glue PVC, CPVC, PEX, gas piping, and copper tubing and fittings.
- Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify and rectify problems.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly handled.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe workspace.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of practical experience as a plumbing apprentice.
- Proficient in using plumbing tools and equipment.
- Strong understanding of plumbing systems, materials, and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to perform demanding tasks, including lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to following safety protocols and company procedures.
Compensation
We follow JAC pay rates as directed by the WI Department of Workforce Development.Benefits
