What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host- Honeybelle position at PGA National Resort (Salamander Collection)?
The Host - Honeybelle at PGA National Resort responsibilities:
- Provide a positive experience to the guests of the restaurant upon their arrival and departure.
- Seat guests and manage the seating chart
- Monitor restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow
- Ensure knowledge of menu
- Service stocking needs, tabletop maintenance and follow up for accuracy
- Assist others with side work including, but not limited to, cleaning, folding silverware, etc.
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner
- Perform opening and closing duties, as needed
- Assist with the reservation book and any other administrative duties
- Perform all other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to work a flexible shift, weekends, holidays
- Must have Florida Food Handlers and Alcohol compliance certifications
- Excellent telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills required.

- Ability to effectively communicate and work well with fellow employees
- Ability to effectively deal with customer complaints and concerns in a friendly and positive manner.
- Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player
- Use judgment and reasoning to cope with emergencies, such as sudden illness, accident, or interrupted service.
- Standing, bending, walking, lift/push 25-50lbs
