Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
The Project Engineer will assist the Resident Engineer (RE) in the administration of a Construction Contract.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Managing and tracking and changes.
- Writing letters in response to Change Requests.
- Evaluating Contractor Requests for change.
- Interpreting and enforcing contract requirements.
- Attending meetings.
- Assisting in coordination necessary with the designer to resolve technical issues.
- Assisting the RE with contract administration and construction management.
- Assisting the RE in closeout process and documentation closeout.
Qualifications and Experience
- OCS or Transit experience is preferred.
- 5 years of experience in construction management and contract administration.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering is preferred.
