Job Description:
Ensure that all raw material and outside processing is accurately and timely ordered and followed up to ensure a timely receipt to enable production to be done on a timely basis to meet customer orders. Maintain a program to ensure a desired inventory turnover level and elimination of excess and obsolete inventory.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Orders all raw material and is responsible for ensuring timely delivery from suppliers.
· Orders all outside processing of direct material and ensures receipt on a timely basis.
· Prepare purchase orders to obtain materials, tools, and equipment.
· Monitors and responsible for the EDI POs not entered into CMS report.
· Coordinate with company controller to perform annual physical inventory.
· Responsible for developing and maintaining an effective cycle count program.
· Audit all cycle counts performed by material handlers to ensure accuracy.
· Perform raw material internal receiving process.
· Enters Inventory Scrap (RTS scrap or components) anything outside of WIP scrap.
· Escalate contract review issues.
· Escalate all Inventory Discrepancies.
· Prepare and distribute at Risk report.
· Responsible for completion of external raw material receipts from outside processing.
· Issue monthly report on actual inventory levels vs planned inventory levels and conduct meeting with appropriate teammates to determine corrective action if required.
· Issue monthly report on potential E&O inventory issues.
· Responsible for UPS shipments and receipts.
· Perform all other duties as properly assigned.
· Driven, detail oriented and analytical.
Qualifications:
· Fluent in Microsoft excel
· Apic certified a plus
· excellent computer skills
· experience in purchasing
· excellent communications skills
· proven track record of effective customer communication experience
· Basic knowledge of ISO and AS9100D quality standards.
