PGIM Quantitative Solutions (”PQS”) Global Client Service Team works closely with our institutional investors to support their needs and exceed their expectations. We engage with our investors from the start of the onboarding process through their entire relationship with PQS, and strive to develop strong working relationships. We value proactive and thoughtful engagement, as well as a deep understanding of our products and services. As a Client Relationship Sr Specialist at PQS, you will join a world class institutional Client Service team and assist in managing client activity. In addition, you will be responsible for overseeing our Onboarding function, ensuring that new mandates are funded in a timely, seamless manner. You will collaborate as part of a larger team, as well as many internal groups within PQS, PGIM and Prudential to successfully assist with new accounts, servicing existing clients, and service your assigned book of business.

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $75,000 to $90,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.

What you will do:
- Maintain client coverage for a specified list of investors: develop long term relationships, strive to anticipate client’s needs and objectives, participate in client meetings (as needed), coordinate with the consultant team and respond to ad hoc requests.
- Oversee the Onboarding function to ensure timely account implementation on new client accounts: develop understanding of onboarding procedures, work with existing team members and other areas of the firm to onboard clients in a timely manner
- Develop deep understanding about the firm, its history, philosophy, products, people and processes; stay up to date on current research, new product launches and ongoing performance and relevant firm enhancements
- Collaborate with the various PQS constituencies (including portfolio management, legal, compliance, operations, finance etc.,) on relevant client inquiries and deliverables, often researching issues and providing suggestions on resolution
- Develop relationships across PGIM to help facilitate onboarding responsibilities and client coverage (with other client service teams, PGIM legal, etc.,)
- Coordinate with the PQS marketing team on various deliverables, including quarterly presentations, DDQ completions and ad-hoc client requests
- Back up and support PQS sales and senior client relationship managers with various client deliverables (when they are traveling or on holiday or need additional support)
- Help maintain the Salesforce client system with up-to-date client information
- Assist on various projects for the team
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2-4 years experience within financial services and/or asset management industry in a client facing role
- Proven ability to correspond directly with clients via strong verbal communication and writing skills
- Demonstrated interest in the global markets and asset management related products
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, follow through and sense of urgency
- Desire to collaborate internally on various projects as well as externally with investors
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize
- Demonstrated ability working in a cooperative, open-minded team environment
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills including proficiency with Excel
- Motivated self-starter with critical thinking skills
- MBA or CFA candidate
- Experience working in asset management (buy side); institutional client experience a plus
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce
- Able to work in a team environment while taking individual responsibility for the quality and accuracy of his/her work.
- Excellent time management skills; work efficiently under the pressure of deadlines.
