Job Description
PGLS is looking for a Thai Language Instructor to teach an intensive course for an adult professional, onsite in Seattle, WA. This position is for a class starting on March, 2025 , for around 8 months (800 hrs).
Requirements
- Educated native or bilingual speaker.
- 2 year(s) of classroom experience teaching Thai language to adult English-speaking students.
- 1 year(s) of teaching experience in a small-group classroom setting.
- Must possess the cultural background of the country and geographical region. (raised or educated in the county).
- Familiarity with the communicative approach to language learning, ILR language levels and OPI assessments highly desired.
- Familiarity with various computer platforms including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite, and virtual meeting software (Zoom, Skype, MS Teams, WebEx).

Must possess the cultural background of the country and geographical region. (raised or educated in the county). Familiarity with the ILR language levels and ILR-based proficiency assessment highly desired. Familiarity with various computer platforms including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite, and virtual meeting software (Zoom, Skype, MS Teams, WebEx). Skills Required Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a distributed team. Strong client service, organizational, problem-solving, and time management abilities. Ability to work remotely and provide required services from alternate locations via Zoom, Skype, MS Teams, WebEx, etc. at the direction of the Client highly desired. Instructors must be able to work in a harmonious and professional manner with cultures from around the world.
Salary : $30
