PGM of Texas is looking for a highly analytical Lab Assistant to join our growing team. As the Lab Assistant, you will work with our Chemist and our Lab Staff to process samples, perform tests, and record and analyze results.
In addition to having strong attention to detail, you must be responsible for lab procedures and maintaining a clean workspace.
In this position, the candidate will be:
- Preparing test samples
- Keeping lab records and documenting test findings
- Report data and compile the information into graphs and documents
- Use testing information and details to gather results
- Ongoing monitor tests, noting any differences
- Keep detailed records
- Measure and report results
The ideal candidate has:
- Recommended but not necessary, Associates in Chemistry/Biology/ Analytic Studies
- Outstanding analytical abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Keen attention to detail when conducting tests and documenting results
- General computer literacy
- Accuracy and close attention to detail
