What are the responsibilities and job description for the Test Engineer position at PGS Worldwide LLC?
PGS Worldwide is actively seeking a skilled Test Engineer to support ongoing projects for an Aerospace leader in Linthicum, MD. This is an initial 12-month contract-to-hire opportunity and I will respond immediately to all qualified candidates.
Job Description :
Responsibilities include executing test scripts for the verification of Software, Hardware, and System requirements for applications in Space. Understanding of RF (Radio Frequency) systems, especially RADAR, SIGINT, or COMMS; programming and scripting skills; and, working knowledge of RF test equipment (Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Power Meters, etc.) is desired.
Requirements :
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- US Citizenship
- BS in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math); or HS diploma with at least 4 years of relevant military experience with sensor systems, ideally RADAR, integration and test or operation and maintenance, or military control room console operator; or defense industry work experience with sensor systems, ideally RADAR, integration and test or operation and maintenance
- Willingness to work dedicated 2nd for several months continuously (2nd shift is typically 1 PM - 10 PM)
- NO CLEARANCE REQUIRED
