PGS Worldwide is actively seeking a skilled Assembler to support ongoing projects for an Aerospace leader in Austin, TX. This is an initial 12-month contract-to-hire opportunity and I will respond immediately to all qualified candidates.

Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and / or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. In this manufacturing position you will make impacts in the following ways :
- Assembling electronic components, assemblies, subassemblies, and modules by working from samples, visual aids, prints, wiring lists and diagrams, routing instructions and process sheets using appropriate tooling and equipment.
- Must have the ability to work from engineering drawings and read / follow system schematics. Working independently and in a team environment with supervision
- Performs electronic and mechanical assembly operations such as wire termination, installation of wire harness, cable assemblies, value torquing and extensive attention to detail.
- Collaboration with team members and engineering team to produce quality products.
- Assembles, disassembles, and modifies various production subassembly by following work plans.
- Inspects result to ensure conformance to J-STD & IPC-610 standards. You will also be supporting various production and prototype projects by using electronic / electrical assembly skills to complete production assembly operations on electronic / electrical and mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies such as modules, circuit boards, and connector panels.
- Inspects, adjusts and certifies moderately complex assemblies, subassemblies, parts and systems for compliance with specifications and quality assurance practices following blueprints, schematics and inspection manuals using hand tools and precision testing equipment.
- Collaborates with engineering, drafting, and quality assurance to obtain clarification, resolve issues, and improve processes.
- Required to work closely with Quality Control to ensure that high standards of quality are met and will work with Engineering to help resolve technical issues and address quality concerns.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
