PGS Worldwide is actively seeking a skilled Electrical / Electronic Technician to support ongoing projects for an Aerospace leader in Minneapolis, MN. This is an initial 12-month contract-to-hire opportunity and I will respond immediately to all qualified candidates.
Job Description :
An Aerospace Leader in Minneapolis MN is seeking an experienced electrical / electronic technician to work in its Electrical Engineering Lab. This position will support complex electronic products and support equipment, design, development, fabrication, assembly, test, inspection, troubleshooting, rework and repair.
Requirements :
- US Citizenship
- 2-year technical degree or a Minimum of 2 years as a technician performing related tasks, either in a production or prototype environment.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and sketches.
- Fabrication, assembly, test and inspection per engineering drawings, sketches and verbal instructions for cables and electrical enclosures
- Assemble, rework and repair of circuit boards containing surface mount and through-hole components.
- Conduct tests and generate report data.
- Able to work as part of a group or team.
- Maintain a safe work environment and ensures compliance with safety objectives and policies.
