POSITION - Maintenance Tech - Manufacturing Plant
LOCATION - Pembroke Pines, FL
HOURLY RATE - $34.00 - $38.00
SHIFT - 1st - Day Shift - 7am To 4:30pm
- Provide direct front-line support of site process automation and data collection systems for manufacturing and utilities systems
- Support Process Automation Engineering system owners for exclusive process automation systems (e.g. SCADA, data backups, etc.)
- Follow site procedures and technical standards for the automation function
- Execute continuous improvement and upgrade projects for process automation systems
- Conduct condition-based predictive maintenance activities (e.g. infrared thermography, vibration monitoring, etc.) to detect early onset of equipment failures
- Ability to perform basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and maintenance activities

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Associate of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or experience as a 5-10 years maintenance tech in a high volume manufacturing plant.
- Minimum 5 years manufacturing experience: automation, controls, electrical/mechanical craft, IT
- Experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance work
- Language Requirement - English
- Strong communication and networking skills
- Knowledge of manufacturing safety requirements for automated and electrical systems
Arithmetic, Algebra, Boolean logic
REASONING ABILITY- Ability to execute physical and logical troubleshooting sequences
- Ability to read/understand controller ladder logic, programming code
- Ability to read/understand electrical wiring diagrams and schematics
- Certificates in programming and troubleshooting process automation systems including common PLC, HMI, and SCADA platforms
- Level I certification in predictive technology (e.g. infrared thermography, vibration monitoring, etc.)
- Software proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Software
- Proficiency in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
