What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr Media Planner position at PGT Custom Windows and Doors?
The Senior Media Planner will own the day-to-day process of developing B2C full-funnel traditional and digital media campaigns for our agency partners to execute—optimizing these campaigns and managing the advertising budget in conjunction with senior leadership. This person will manage a multi-million dollar advertising budget, ensuring we make our raw lead goals across all Florida and South Carolina markets.
This leader will play a critical role in driving media strategies for our markets across TV, radio, print, and digital channels that align with our B2C marketing lead generation goals. The Senior Media Planner will have the ability to synthesize performance data, applying learnings to media plans and leading a performance-focused media strategy, while owning elements of planning and strategy with core internal stakeholders. This person will be responsible for spending our advertising budget on advertising channels that enable us to meet/exceed our 2025 raw lead goals. This includes defining new channels to test, identifying ROI metrics to track, and determining which mediums should be added into our advertising mix.
- Monitor and optimize all media spend, adjusting strategies based upon real-time performance data and sales insights to enhance campaign efficiency.
- Provide recommendations and help build out media plans with senior leadership and agency partners, including where to invest across traditional and digital channels.
- Oversee the Digital Marketing Specialist, providing clear guidance on daily tasks, performance, and career development.
- Provide comprehensive reports on media spend, performance metrics, and recommendations for optimization.
Degrees, certifications, &/or technical training: Bachelor’s in Marketing preferred. Will accept experience in place of a BA.
Minimum years of related experience:
- 5 years of proven experience as a B2C Media Planner with a strong understanding of digital (Meta, Google, OTT, CTV) and traditional (TV, radio, print) media channels.
- 5 year of experience managing million-dollar media budgets and maximizing ROI on ad spend.
- 5 years of proven experience profitably driving high-volume lead generation acquisition funnels.
- Minimum of 3 years of management experience, including direct supervision of team members.
