Datacenter Hardware Technician (2nd Shift)
Location : Memphis, TN (100% Onsite)
Shift : 1 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM (2nd Shift)
Salary : 70-90K (based on experience)
Overview : We are seeking skilled Datacenter Hardware Technicians to manage break / fix operations, ensuring seamless operations of Dell servers in a fast-paced environment. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, with an emphasis on hardware repair, rack and stack, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate is comfortable working onsite in a dynamic datacenter environment, managing tickets, and collaborating with a team to resolve hardware issues quickly and efficiently.
Responsibilities :
- Hardware Support : Perform hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and hardware replacement (e.g., GPUs, NICs, memory, etc.) for Dell servers and related equipment.
- Ticket Management : Track and manage service tickets, prioritizing and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Problem-Solving : Diagnose and resolve hardware failures, leveraging expertise in server components and systems.
- Customer Service : Provide clear and effective communication with team members and internal customers, ensuring a smooth experience.
- Physical Tasks : Lift up to 65 pounds, work on ladders, and perform physically demanding tasks in the datacenter.
- Team Collaboration : Work efficiently with other technicians and departments to meet deployment goals and resolve technical issues.
- Attention to Detail : Ensure all repairs and tasks are completed to a high standard, maintaining precision and quality.
