Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled VMware Engineer with expertise in VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and VMware vRealize Automation/Orchestrator (vRA/vRO) to support our mission-critical infrastructure. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining VMware solutions in a secure environment.
- Design, deploy, and manage VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environments.
- Develop and maintain automation workflows using vRealize Automation (vRA) and vRealize Orchestrator (vRO).
- Ensure high availability, security, and scalability of virtualized infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot complex virtualization issues and optimize system performance.
- Maintain compliance with security policies and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational and project-based initiatives.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly (mandatory).
- Strong experience with VCF, vRA, and vRO in enterprise environments.
- Certifications:
- CompTIA Security (required)
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP) (required)
- Experience with VMware NSX, vSphere, and Horizon.
- Scripting experience with PowerShell or Python for automation.
- Strong understanding of DoD security and compliance frameworks.
