Job Overview
The Logistics Team Lead is responsible for overseeing and managing a team of logistics personnel, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations within a warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods, while optimizing inventory levels and delivery times, all while maintaining quality standards and meeting customer demands
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee the transportation of goods from suppliers to warehouses and customers.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate order picking processes.
- Utilize transportation management systems to optimize routing and delivery schedules.
- Collaborate with logistics and warehouse staff to ensure efficient loading and unloading of shipments.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, deliveries, and inventory levels.
- Assist in sourcing materials and managing supplier relationships to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Support fleet management activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational efficiency.
- Participate in category management initiatives to streamline logistics processes and improve service levels.
Qualifications
- Experience in Logistics, transportation management, or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Previous use of SAP system.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Proficient in using transportation management systems.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with team members and external partners.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in order processing and inventory management.
- Computer Skills required- Knowledge of basic computer operations
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Continually required to standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling
- While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
- The employee must occasionally lift and /or move more than 20-50 pounds / frequently lift

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.50 - $22.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
