Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Interpreter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in multiple languages and possess excellent communication skills to facilitate effective language interpretation.
Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and clear interpretation services during meetings, conferences, and other interactions
- Translate spoken statements from one language to another while maintaining the original meaning
- Assist individuals with limited English proficiency to communicate effectively
- Ensure confidentiality and impartiality in all interpretations
- Stay up-to-date with industry-specific terminology
Experience
- Proficiency in multiple languages
- Strong understanding of linguistics and cultural nuances
- Previous experience in interpretation or translation is preferred
- Certification in interpretation or related field is a plus
- Familiarity with American Sign Language (ASL) is advantageous
