Job Overview
As an Interpreter, you will play a crucial role in facilitating communication between individuals who speak different languages or use sign language. Your linguistic skills will bridge the gap and ensure effective understanding between parties.

Duties
- Communicate verbal information accurately from one language to another
- Translate written documents from one language to another
- Interpret spoken communication into sign language for deaf or hard-of-hearing individuals
- Provide cultural context to facilitate understanding between parties
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality during interpreting sessions

Requirements
- Proficiency in at least two languages to facilitate accurate interpretation
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of linguistics and cultural nuances
- Ability to translate complex information accurately
- Familiarity with American Sign Language (ASL) is a plus
- Previous experience as an interpreter is beneficial but not mandatory

Job Types: Contract, Temporary

Pay: $25.00 - $35.69 per hour
