What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping and Receiving Administrator position at Phantom Fireworks?
The Shipping & Receiving Admin at Phantom Fireworks is a working lead position during the season leading up to our critical July 4th holiday. This position is responsible for various transportation tasks to the support of office and operations staff. They will need experience with various office software including Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and similar programs.
Phantom operates a safe environment with a focus on quality, and our people follow a team approach to completing work that is collaborative in nature. Attention to detail and a strong work ethic are a must. The ability to work well with others, communicate with multiple teams, and follow instructions correctly is also a must.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Administrative
- Processing shipping data and schedules
- Preparing shipping documents
- Learn and utilize Phantom’s ERP, S2K
- Filing, copying, processing paperwork
- Data entry
- Interacting with carriers
- Other administrative tasks as require
Safety
- Follows all rules and policies to ensure the safety of teammates and visitors
- Provides suggestions for safety improvements as they arise
- Ensures good housekeeping practices are followed for general office cleanliness
QUALIFICATIONS
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment required
- Good communication skills and the ability to build relationships with others on new tasks

- This is a day shift, In-Season position primarily required in the months up to and including the July 4th holiday. In-Season hours are extended with required overtime some evenings and weekends based on business needs in those last months prior to the holiday.
- Ability to work in a non-smoking facility with limited breaks.

- Dependable transportation
- Ability to commute daily to Warren, OH warehouse facility at 3566 Larchmont Ave. NE Warren, OH 44483.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
- This role works in a typical office environment
- As typical of an office environment, with limited interaction with the warehouse the position is indoors but also subject to dust and the normal temperature fluctuations representative of Northeast Ohio weather.
- Position may be required to perform other duties as assigned.
