This full-time position focuses on ensuring site-wide compliance, supporting day-to-day EHS programs, and contributing to cross-functional engineering and safety-related activities.

- Apply EHS principles to resolve practical challenges in daily site operations
- Support and maintain environmental and safety programs, ensuring alignment with internal procedures and regulatory standards
- Execute well-defined EHS projects and document outcomes
- Assist in EHS-related tasks such as industrial hygiene, ergonomics, biosafety, fire protection, hazardous waste management, and environmental compliance
- Evaluate operations for compliance with company and regulatory EHS requirements (e.g., cGMP, OSHA, EPA)
- Conduct research and provide guidance on EHS matters
- Assist with development and delivery of internal EHS training and communications
- Monitor third-party vendors on site
- Participate in shutdown planning, decontamination, and decommissioning activities
- Support troubleshooting of site systems and equipment related to EHS performance
- Maintain documentation for technical activities and project tracking
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and resolve EHS risks proactively
- Maintain cleanroom gowning certification and support cleanroom operations as needed
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- 5 years of EHS experience in a pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical setting
- Direct exposure to cGMP, OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory environments
- OSHA training and knowledge of hazardous shipping protocols
- Familiarity with MSDS documentation
- Calm and solution-focused under pressure
- Effective communicator across departments and levels
- Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Demonstrates accountability and a proactive, hands-on approach
- Strong analytical and documentation skills
- Experience with safety-related equipment, pollution control, and EHS compliance tools
- Capable of supporting and coordinating with contractors and third-party service providers
