What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Pharmacy position at PharmaCare Services?
Description
- Plan, direct and monitor all financial, operational, professional, and clinical activities of the department. This is a working Director position for a 30-bed Critical Care Hospital.
- Ensure that all pharmacy staff is currently licensed/certified/registered and complies with all applicable regulations, policies and standards of the hospital and PharmaCare Services.
- Develops rapport with hospital staff and provides timely information relative to drugs, policies and standards of care that relate to medication use/safety.
- Keep current with State regulations regarding the practice of Pharmacy and implements changes as necessary to maintain compliance.
Requirements
- Hospital pharmacy experience (at least two years preferred)
- Sterile Compounding Experience
- Missouri State Board Pharmacist License
- Good computer skills and experience with pharmacy software
- Self-motivating and proven leadership ability
