About the Role

- Evaluating physician medication orders for appropriateness, including drug dosage, potential interactions, and route of administration
Maintaining accurate patient/resident databases, incorporating relevant medical history, clinical data, and concurrent medications
Collaborating with healthcare teams to provide clinical support and implement evidence-based practice guidelines
Implementing policies and procedures for safe medication procurement, storage, distribution, and disposal
Providing education and training to facility staff on proper medication handling and administration techniques
