The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, providing exceptional patient care, and complying with all state and federal regulations. This role requires a deep understanding of Pennsylvania-specific pharmacy laws and regulations, ensuring that our pharmacy operates at the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
• Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and interactions
• Ensure compliance with all applicable pharmacy laws and regulations
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff
• Maintain proper inventory control and medication storage.
• Resolve medication-related issues
• Stay up-to-date with new drug therapies and advancements in pharmaceutical care
Qualifications:
• Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
• Licensure: Must be a licensed Pharmacist in the state of Pennsylvania or eligible for licensure
• Experience: Previous retail, hospital, or clinical pharmacy experience preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
