Responsibilities:
- The individual will spend 80% of time focusing on data management and operations; 20% of time supporting ad-hoc analytics and reporting activities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and leaders (Analytics, IT, Sales, Marketing, Medical, Business Operations etc.) to understand their business problems and provide data operational support and recommend best-in-class data/technical solutions.
- Manage vendors and agencies on day-to-day data operations activities (data integration, transformation, processing, analysis and documentation)
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies. Develop and implement data management strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure data quality, integrity, and security.
- Support the design and maintenance of our data and digital ecosystem (including integration with other systems such like CRM) to support operations excellence and data analysis.
- Monitor data quality and perform regular audits to identify and address data inconsistencies and errors.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data management and analytics.
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in commercial pharma data management, data warehousing, master data management, data governance, reporting and analytics. Pharma/biotech industry experience strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with different types of syndicated commercial pharma datasets across claims, specialty pharmacy (SP/SD), Hub, formulary, co-pay, EMR/EHR, lab data, non-personal promotion/media/digital data, speaker programs and conferences etc.
- Knowledge of internal commercial pharma datasets across CRM (Activity, Call Plan etc.), Sales Ops (Roaster, Alignment, Incentive Compensation etc.), Forecast etc.
- Strong understanding of master data management in commercial pharma across HCPs, HCOs and affiliations management (match merge rules, survivorship rules etc.). MDM experience across Payer-Plan, Product and Patient will be a plus.
- Having Pharma Commercial Omnichannel Architecture, data integration and analytics experience is big plus.
- Proficiency with data transformation and analytics tools such as SQL, dbt, and R or Python; understanding of machine learning and AI techniques is a plus.
- Knowledge for data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) would be an asset.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism in all activities.
