Position Title : PET / CT Technologist
Position Summary :
As a PET / CT Technologist you will be a vital addition to Invivo Molecular Imaging, a division of PharmaLogic, which has been servicing the healthcare industry for more than 20 years.

We provide consistent quality while our team integrates into the diagnostic imaging department of the hospitals we partner with. Performs a variety of routine and advanced diagnostic PET / CT examinations requiring sound understanding of anatomical positioning, human physiology and equipmentOperates mobile diagnostic equipment to produce high-quality imaging with little supervisionAssess, prepare, record and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to all NRC and / or state and departmental regulationsExplains and educates the patient on the procedure or isotopes in a clear and professional mannerAdheres to strict HIPPA and radiation safety protocols and guidelines at all timesFunctions effectively in a team-oriented environmentMaintains positive attitude and working relationships with radiologist, referring customers and other associates and peersEnsures that routine and priority tasks are completed within established departmental time frames.Assists with maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual and software upgradesMonitors medical supply inventory and requests supplies as necessaryAssists with training of new associates, providing resource and technical expertise, as applicablePerforms and records daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly quality control procedures on PET / CT equipmentPrepares and completes accurate documentation related to patient, procedures (includes screening and written consent forms), and exam charges.Implements protection devices and safety standards to minimize radiation exposure (as low as reasonably achievable (ALARA)) to self, staff and patients.Maintains a clean, neat, and safe working environment, including cleaning and disinfecting equipment after each procedure.Retains certification and completes mandated continuing education requirements to meet facility and regulatory agencies accreditation and licensure requirements.Travels to various medical facilities on a mobile routeWhat You’ll Bring to the Role :
NMTCB or ARRT registered technologist in Nuclear Medicine, current and in good standingLicensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicableCurrent Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certificationMust have training and experience sufficient to competently perform PET / CT procedures independentlyCertification in imaging specialty preferredBenefits Include :
