We are looking for a Process Engineer to join our consulting team and provide market leadership to the Life Science industry. This project is located in South San Francisco, CA, and has a 3-year term. This is a contract position with long-term opportunities for the right person.
We’re looking for a Process Engineer who :
- Will support the overall engineering team by providing technical expertise in the project implementation of a new construction facility supporting biologics products.
- Apply sound engineering theory and critical thinking to effectively author and / or review drawings, specifications, and submittals from the General Contractor / technical vendors.
- Develop / review process flow diagrams, identify equipment requirements, and assist in the development of batching / equipment operational instructions.
- Provide guidance, review, and check process design work performed by engineering contractors on engineering design data, process flow diagrams, P&ID's, process equipment data sheets, and process bid tabulations.
- Effectively resolve a variety of technical problems of moderate to large complexity and scope.
- Ensure visibility and awareness into implementation risks, identifying preventative measures, investigating, and troubleshooting design (as needed) during the start-up and commissioning phases.
- Experience with Biologics or ADC (Anti-body Drug Conjugate) platform as well as research labs and pilot labs.
- Ensure safety and environmental measures are taken and appropriately addressed throughout the project.
