JOB SUMMARY
The Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a warehouse, including supervising a team of warehouse workers, managing inventory levels, ensuring efficient order fulfillment, maintaining safety standards, and coordinating warehouse activities to meet operational goals, often requiring strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skill
SHIFT SCHEDULE
Monday-Thursday - 6:00am-4:30pm
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Team Supervision: Leading and motivating a team of warehouse associates, assigning tasks, providing training, and monitoring performance to ensure productivity targets are met.
- Inventory Management: Regularly checking stock levels, identifying discrepancies, updating inventory systems, and monitoring/communicating inventory needs.
- Quality Control: Identifying products with damage or defects and escalating the quality issues to maintain product integrity.
- Safety Compliance: Enforcing warehouse safety regulations, conducting safety inspections, and addressing any safety concerns to maintain a safe working environment.
- Performance Monitoring: Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) like productivity, accuracy, and efficiency to identify areas for improvement.
- Problem-Solving: Identifying and resolving operational issues, including equipment malfunctions, inventory discrepancies, and staffing challenges.
- Communication: Maintaining clear communication with warehouse staff, management, and other departments regarding operational updates, issues, and customer requirements.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- 5 years of warehouse experience
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Forklift certified with a minimum of 3 years of experience (OSHA)
- Warehouse Safety Certificate (OSHA)
- Certified Logistics Associate/Warehouse Distribution certification preferred (OSHA)

- Demonstrate ability to operating forklift and other material handling equipment.
- Leadership skills: Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively while coordinating with outside departments
- Organizational skills: Efficiently planning, documenting, and coordinating warehouse activities.
- Communication skills: Clear and concise communication with team members and stakeholders (Bilingual preferred for both English and Spanish)
- Technical skills: Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software
- Problem-solving skills: Ability to analyze situations, collaborate, and find solutions to operational challenges
- Attention to detail: Ensuring accuracy in inventory management and order fulfillment
- Physical stamina: Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed
