PharmcareUSA in Hartsville, SC is excited to announce that we are in need of a Registered Pharmacist to join our team!!
PharmcareUSA is a growing, privately operated National LTC pharmacy provider operated by pharmacists. We are looking for an energetic, patient caring, critical thinking, person that can communicate, both written and verbally.
We are looking for the person that desires to organize, lead, and manage when called upon. Pay is based on experience.
Benefits include: Medical, dental, vision, 401K, Life Insurance and other supplemental options. PTO available to Full Time employees.
Previous LTC experience is a plus, but not necessary for the right candidate.
Essential Functions:
- Assist and manage pharmacy technicians as required and as necessary.
- Assist with phone calls, as necessary.
- IV experience a positive.
- Evaluate medication administration to verify that it conforms with the prescribers’ orders.
- Adhere with all compliance requirements.
Qualifications
Job Specifications:
- Comply with State Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations at all times
- Maintain required Continuing Education credits
- Maintain current licensing by the state(s) in which he/she practices
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to routinely use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Must be able to constantly operate a computer and other office equipment up to 100% of the time;
- Regularly required to talk and hear in order to communicate effectively over the phone and in person;
- Must be able to see 100% of the time to recognize medications, detect inaccuracies, and observe the work of others;
- This position is very active and requires standing for long periods, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping;
- Must be able to lift and/or transport materials weighing up to 25 pounds, up to 10% of the time;
- Must be able to tolerate normal office/pharmacy environment and exposure to various medications
