Job Description: We’re seeking a full-time experienced payroll and benefits specialist to join our team in our corporate office in Watkinsville, GA. The ideal candidate is someone who is detail-oriented, works accurately with numbers, understands and works with complex processes, and has strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills. Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Maintains the upkeep of our payroll system: employee roster, employee statuses, pay rates, PTO, insurance deductions, direct deposits, etc.
- Oversees and manages bi-weekly payroll (approve timecards, deductions, pay codes, expense reports, wage and hour laws, garnishments, etc.)
- Manages daily operations of company 401(k) including eligibility determination, enrollment, updates, loans, rollovers
- Oversees benefits coordination including open enrollment, payroll updates, invoice reconciliation, SPDs, 1095s, benefits enrollment system
- Trains new employees on the payroll system and how to fill out expense reports
- Assists with monthly invoices for clients
- Completes regular audits of invoices, files, and other items
Position Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in payroll & benefits preferred
- Accounting degree preferred
Schedule Details:
- Full-time, 40 hours a week (Mon - Fri 8:00am-5:00pm)
