Overview
Pharming is seeking an Associate Counsel to bring legal expertise to our clinical and commercial stage programs. Our goal is to increase the speed of execution, and effectiveness with a dynamic legal support function that is integrated into our clinical, regulatory, managed care, marketing, sales, and patient support departments. Successful execution will involve practical business acumen in researching, assessing, communicating, and coordinating across the organization. This is a hybrid role - must be able to report to the Warren, NJ office 2 to 3 days per week.
Key Responsibilities
The Associate Counsel will be responsible for a wide variety of matters in support of Pharming's growth :
Core functions include :
- Drafting and negotiating a broad range of contracts ranging from pre-clinical to clinical and a full range of distribution, managed care, and global R&D agreements.
- Provide legal counsel to functions such as Marketing, Sales, Training and Medical on strategy and tactics.
- Participate as the legal representative on the Promotional Review Committee (PRC) for an assigned product, working collaboratively with Regulatory and Medical reviewers as well as project owners to ensure that medical and commercial materials are legally compliant and aligned with business objectives.
- Review and update contract templates, standardized provisions, and guidance.
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments, proactively identify issues that could affect Pharming, and advise clients accordingly.
- Assist with the review of policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance, including policies on product promotion, HCP interactions and privacy.
- Lead other key projects as needed to support the Legal Department.
- This is a hybrid role - must be able to report to the Warren, NJ office, 2 to 3 days per week.

Salary Range
Pharming takes into consideration a combination of candidate's work experience, training, and education, as well as the scope of the role, complexity, and external market and internal value when determining a salary level.
The base salary range for this job is from $165,000.00 TO $185,000.00 per year.
