PharmPro is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Staff Pharmacist for our clients in Indianapolis, IN in a Long-Term Care setting .The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in clinical pharmacy, with a focus on patient care and medication management. The Staff Pharmacist will collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize therapeutic outcomes and provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care.
Immediate Needs :
MUST have a Valid / active Indiana pharmacist license
Multiple Shifts Available
12 week contract with the potential to convert TO FULL TIME HIRE
Weekends may be asked
Duties.
Review and interpret physician orders to ensure appropriate medication therapy.
Prepare and dispense medications accurately while adhering to safety protocols.
Provide clinical consultations regarding medication management, including acute pain management.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care in critical care environments.
Monitor patient responses to medications and adjust therapies as necessary.
Educate patients and healthcare staff on medication use, potential side effects, and interactions.
Maintain accurate records of medication dispensing and patient profiles.
Stay updated on new medications, therapies, and advancements in pharmacology.
