Our Shipping team is responsible for arranging and managing the shipment of all goods from our facility. Working closely with our Production and QC team to ensure packages are properly pushed thru our systems and meet the projected ship dates using our internal software as well as Pacejet, FedEx, UPS and USPS integrated systems and ensuring packaged products are properly labeled and marked for shipment. Candidate must work well in a very fast paced, deadline-oriented environment; have strong organizational and problem-solving skills; be detail oriented; must be able to quickly identify problems and seek solutions and must be able to communicate effectively and work well with others in a team environment.

Job Responsibilities:
- Manage detailed shipping calendars
- Communicate professionally and effectively with our clients, vendors and internal teammates.
- Ability to assist in checking our finished products through the quality control process. Ability to check for details to ensure top quality for all of our products.
- Prepare bills of lading; check items to be shipped against work orders to ascertain that quantities, destination, and routing are correct.
- Ensure that products processed for shipping are shipped utilizing the correct courier.
- Prepare shipments for postal or commercial conveyance; determine most economical and efficient shipping method.
- Trace lost shipments and/or customer claims of lost shipments; initiate proof of delivery documents.
- Hands-on experience. You can expect to handle packages from small envelopes to boxes ranging up to 40 pounds.
- Must be able to work overtime when necessary and participate in physical inventory
Job Requirements:
- Must be able to drive a forklift
- At least 2 years of proven experience in relevant role
- A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach
- Responsible and trustworthy
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and ability to quickly learn other computer software.
- Experience utilizing software from carriers such as: FedEx and UPS
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time in a warehouse environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High School Degree; Further qualifications would be a plus
