We are retained by an extremely well funded Gene Therapy business to locate a new Director, Upstream Process Development. With multiple public and stealth assets under development this role has the ability to drive a seismic shift in the world of curative and near-curative medicine.
In this role you will be the leading technical mind on existing and new critical upstream projects focusing on how to drive an order of magnitude improvement in titer.
Primarily working with the client's AAV platform you will be chief problem solver, key innovation instigator, and motivator to tackle the challenges that will catalyze step change across the businesses existing platform.
Knowledge of early stage GT / viral platforms will be advantageous, as will your ability to pull from a broad array of modality experience as you drive to optimize cell culture, media, and processes as a whole.
With support from senior leadership almost guaranteed this is not gene therapy for a die hard one way only expert, this is gene therapy for an expert problem solver that enjoys solving challenges in multiple ways.
