System/Workstation Administrator
We are seeking an innovative and highly-driven individual to join our team as a System/Workstation Administrator supporting the Fort Riley SFL TAP office.
Main Responsibilities:
- Plan, analyze, develop, test, ensure quality assurance, configure, install, implement, integrate, maintain, and/or manage networked systems for transmitting information in voice, data, and/or video formats.
- Analyze and define network requirements.
- Define and maintain network architecture and infrastructure.
- Configure and optimize network servers, hubs, routers, and switches.
- Analyze network workload.
- Monitor network capacity and performance.
- Diagnose and resolve network problems.
- Install, test, maintain, and upgrade network operating system software.
- Evaluate and enforce strict application of information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices in network service delivery.
- Provide advice and assistance to customers, troubleshoot all problems, and offer support with minimal disruption to normal business activities.
- Act as the first responder and chief point of contact for all submitted IT work orders.
- Submit weekly workload reports and work order status updates to the contracting officer representative.
- Serve as the Workstation Administrator (WA) for the TAP IT Systems.
Key Requirements:
- At least two years of experience working with DOD computer networks, including servers, hubs, routers, and switches.
- Knowledge of the SFL TAP program.
- DOD 8570 IAT level I certification.
- Due to work nature and US Government regulations, US Citizenship is mandatory.
Desirable Qualifications:
- A valid, active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance.
