Summary
As a Finance Officer at PHASE, you will play a vital role in managing the financial health of our organization. This position is essential for ensuring that we can continue to provide high-quality services to our clients while adhering to best financial practices.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to support strategic decision-making.
- Manage budgeting processes and ensure compliance with GAAP standards.
- Conduct risk analysis to identify potential financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Oversee governmental accounting practices and ensure accurate reporting.
- Collaborate with management on business development initiatives to enhance funding opportunities.
- Monitor cash flow and manage financial resources effectively.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Provide insights through business analysis to improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications

- Post-Secondary Degree (e.g., Bachelor’s) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred. A Bachelor's degree may be substituted with an AA degree and additional related experience.
- A minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible financial management experience, preferably in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization. A combination of education and experience may be considered in meeting this requirement.
- Proven experience in financial report writing and analysis.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting processes and GAAP compliance.
- Experience with governmental accounting is a plus but not required.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in risk analysis is highly desirable.
