JOB DESCRIPTION:
Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities or must demonstrate that they can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some combination of skills and abilities.
- Proven graphic design skills using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, Premiere Pro). Portfolio required (submit with resume).
- Proven graphic design/layout skills in creating and managing marketing collateral including (but not limited to) brochures posters, infographics, multiple-page layouts, technical documentation, press releases, website, email marketing and social media content.
- Ability to photograph and create professional, clean, high-resolution images. Studio and lighting skills desired, but not required.
- Event coordination skills highly desired to smoothly manage in-house events and tradeshow registration.
- Basic knowledge of front-end website design.
- Ability to develop and execute creative design concepts and layouts.
- Project management skills and the ability to multitask and remain organized.
- Ability to meet deadlines and push projects forward.
- Willingness to be coached, edited, and receive feedback with professionalism.
- Strong general computer skills and solid skills with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Ability to learn new software quickly.
- Software requirements. Proven proficiency in: Adobe Creative Suite - InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat. Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Video shooting and editing a plus. (Adobe Premiere Pro)
Duties:
- Follow and recreate materials that adhere to company branding guidelines and standards
- Product photography and or general studio photography
- Photo editing using Photoshop and Adobe software
- Creation, and proper handling of multiple file formats: .jpg, .png, .pdf, .ai, .indd, .eps, .svg, rgb, and cmyk
- Proofreading and editing
- Event coordination
- Website design
- Assist with support of sales team and distribution of marketing material requests
- Assist with coordination of product launches
- Assist and coordinate in marketing functions
- Daily assistance with all marketing needs and projects as requested by manager
- Special projects as assigned
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, graphic design, digital marketing, photography or similar
- Professional, articulate and poised with a clear and concise spoken and written communication style
- Passionate about marketing/design and have 1 to 3 years of professional experience in marketing, graphic design, communications, and/or journalism
- Strong creative, analytical, organizational, and personal skills

8:00 am – 4:30 pm (1 hour lunch)
